AccentCare Southeastern Health Care at Home Infusion Therapy program provides in-home care that is more individualized and cost-effective than an in-patient hospital stay.
Registered Nurses and a skilled interdisciplinary team provide clinical care based on standards of practice developed by the Infusion Nurses Society (INS). The clinical team works directly with physicians and infusion pharmacists to administer the prescribed therapy while monitoring effectiveness.
The nursing teams are highly trained in the latest technology for the administration of IV medications. These compassionate and experienced nurses administer medications, manage venous access devices, and draw blood, saving patients a trip to the lab. Nurses provide support and education to the patient and caregivers to help manage care.
